Comment deleted

At Jeff's request, I reviewed and deleted a comment on the previous post that he found offensive. I agree with him (and with C whose opinion I sought) that the comment was much too personal an attack and not focused on the topic.

I, too, apologized to Jeff for remarks made in my comment that he considered gratuitously insulting. I was a little steamed at the time. Also, I still consider the article a misfire. I don't know if it's possible in the post HIV era to judge the actions of people before that holocaust struck. HIV didn't strike because gay people were silly and had bad hair, and had anonymous sex. Some very serious sociologists now think that Dietary changes in Africa were the culprit. This is the basis of my questioning Mr. Slutzky's work as a social historian. However, I do not believe he was malicious in his intentions.

Very classy, Daniel. To seek the high road, and sometimes to apologize. I find that attractive in a man. A turn-on. Makes me want to have wildly anonymous sex with you. Too late. Already know your name.

We can make up for that by having it in the back of a freight truck.
I'll bring the air mattress and the roses, you bring the champagne.

You gave in too easily. Calling his article a misfire is very kind, indeed.
