Sounds like an interesting and sympathetic character. I would have liked to know a little more about what made the panic of 54 so special. It's kind of a focal point, yet you elide the details.
You're right, Robert61, I did that on purpose. SFGN's Sebastian Fortino is doing a review of his book and those themes (as I mentioned in the profile). This was more about Fred himself.
